Linked SLA Alerts
Helps linked tickets stay informed about the parent issue’s SLA. The app lives on the parent Jira issue that has the SLA; that issue can have linked issues. The app uses the parent’s SLA only—linked tickets don’t need their own SLA. Use Send SLA Alert to Linked Tickets on demand, or rely on configurable triggers evaluated when someone opens or refreshes the Linked SLA Alerts panel on the parent (not a Forge scheduled job or cron). Comments + @mentions on linked tickets; optional Slack or email.
- Panel: “Send SLA Alert to Linked Tickets” — choose all or specific linked tickets, then post a comment on each with the parent’s SLA status and expiry; optional Slack with clickable Jira links (on-demand)
- Configurable SLA notifications: when you open or refresh the panel on the parent, the app evaluates your configured triggers (at risk, breached, or time-left thresholds—e.g. 30 minutes remaining—with separate recipient sets per rule where supported). If conditions match and deduping (Forge KVS) allows, it posts a comment on each linked ticket and @mentions that ticket’s assignee, reporter, watchers, and configurable fields (e.g. Request Participants). Teams often rely on natural visits to the parent issue so the panel runs.
- Admin: triggers, who to @mention per trigger, Jira comment / Slack (webhook or Bot + channel) / email webhook, and two configurable message templates
- Optional SLA field override; Slack token stored securely in Forge (masked, clearable)
